Write for us
We welcome clear, original pitches that reveal a thoughtful angle on food culture: a custom, sensory detail, table practice, food story or creative expression that merits closer attention.
What makes a good pitch
Send a concise proposal that names the subject, the central question and the point a reader will take away. Explain the cultural context and the approach you would use. Strong ideas are specific without claiming to speak for everyone, and can be developed without unsupported generalisations or professional advice.
What to send
Include a working title, a short summary, the intended reader and a brief note about your relevant experience or perspective. Please mention any close connection to the subject that would help us understand your point of view. Do not send a completed article unless we have requested one.
How to submit
Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Please do not assume a pitch has been accepted until you receive a reply. We cannot promise publication or a particular response time.
