Editorial policy
Radiant Food Culture aims to make engaging, accurate writing about food culture without mistaking a vivid story for a universal truth. We explain what a piece can support, make commercial relationships visible and correct meaningful errors.
Accuracy and context
We check factual statements against appropriate sources and make the limits of an account clear. Cultural practices are not interchangeable: we identify the context relevant to a piece and avoid presenting one household's or community's experience as everyone's. We do not offer professional medical, dietary or food-safety advice.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions remain distinct from commercial arrangements. Sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled so readers can tell it apart from independent editorial work. A partnership does not guarantee favourable coverage, and we do not present paid placement as an independent recommendation.
Corrections
If a reader spots an error, they can contact us with the relevant article and the detail in question. We review correction requests and, when a substantive error is confirmed, amend the text and make the correction clear where appropriate.
Illustrations and tools
Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence. Where relevant, we identify that use and do not present illustrative images as documentary evidence.
